Cover Page
The cover page is one of the most important component of any ebook as it provides the “few seconds market-piece” of your book. A poorly and unattractive cover page amounts to little interest and sales. Excellent cover pages showing a pictorial view of the book content will make people curious on what to write about. It is possible to create your cover page using tools like Adobe Photoshop or GIMP (free software), but if you have a good graphic artist, it is recommended to contract that portion out to one.
Note: If you are looking for graphics, you can either purchase pictures or use royalty-free images from
Title Page
The ebook title page has the following
- Title of the ebook,
- The cover page graphic (smaller size)
- Name of Author
- ISBN number
- Website (optional but preferable)

This is optional but it is nice to dedicate your ebook to someone you love, cherish or someone that is you want to emulate.
Introduction
This is a one or two page introduction of your book. Most people use the Introduction Page to build their story line to captivate the audience and it is usually what appears as part of the preview. This together with the cover page needs to be properly prepared – you want to close the sale and you have to make a strong case in the introduction section to convince people to click on buy.
Book Description (max. 500 Characters)
The book description will be used when uploading your book on Kindle. The book’s objective and a brief story line is included in the book description. Take a look at book description of ebooks on the Amazon or Kindle and come up with a nice description for your book.
Body of the ebook
The body of the ebook should contain chapters starting from Chapter 1, 2 and some on.
- Chapter 1
- Chapter 2
- Conclusion
